Notice of the NFSS P&C AGM

New Farm State School D Block

The P&C Annual General Meeting (AGM) started proceedings on 2 March 2021. The meeting was required to postpone with no nominations received for the position of Treasurer.

We will hold a rescheduled Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 30th March 2021. Join us to learn more about what is happening in our school, meet new people, have a say, and find out about projects you can get involved in.

This meeting is now postponed to Tuesday 6 April, due to the Brisbane Covid lockdown (30 March to 1 April).

Time: 6pm
Location: Flexible Learning space, next to the Library (to be advised)

At each Annual General Meeting (AGM), the P&C must elect from its members the following office holders:

  • a President
  • at least one Vice-President
  • a Secretary
  • a Treasurer (P&C regulations state that without a volunteer Treasurer in place, the P&C must disband)

And any additional officers, as decided by the P&C such as:

  •  Swim Club chairperson
  •  Little Patch chairperson (position filled)
  • Second-Hand clothing manager (position filled)
  • Fundraising officer
  • Website manager (position filled)
  • Newsletter officer (position filled)
  • Grants officer
  • Events officer
  • School Banking Officers
